I Spy quilt

After getting the yard mowed, I was able to get started on my first I Spy quilt.  This one will be for our 3 1/2 year old grand-daughter.  She does not speak, and hopefully this little quilt and the game of I Spy will aid her in learning to talk.  The pattern is Twisted Happy Blocks...very quick and easy to sew together!

Another dreary, cloudy day...is it time for a nap?

it has been raining for days here, and yes I felt like a nap or two on a couple of them!

Very cute quilt! I have got to get out those squares I've been saving for...(budder not say how long!), just to make an "I-SPY)..

Mary has some wonderful patterns available for sharing. This is one I'm planning to use.

I hope the adorable quilt you made will work its magic and encourage your granddaughter to talk.

I had so much fun collecting fabrics for an I Spy quilt that I ended up making a large one. My grand-daughter loved it and learned to say many words when she was little by looking at all the things on it.

As you well know, I'm a GMama to a special needs grandson. I hope your quilt is just the thing to spark a love of language in your sweet little Granddaughter. I so empathize with you Sharon!
