For my update...moving a long slowly, but it is summer after all...can't move too fast...it is way to hot! Last week my goal to walk more...well, it did not happen. We were under an excessive heat warning for several days...I did try, but turned around and came back. Early morning seems to be the best bet for now!
This is my first Schnibble! Plan C, using Kansas Troubles for my fabric. I am addicted! And I am cutting out another one, using the pattern Reveille, and Barbara Brackman's
Civil War Homefront charms.
On Saturday, we had a birthday party at the tea room for my friend, Jenny. It is a delightful antique shop situated in an old church in downtown Lee's Summit. The food is wonderful! It's always so much fun to have "girl-time". Hope your week is full of lots of "Self-Care"...I'm off to the pool with a good book!

Don't you just love the addiction? Your quilt is wonderful! I still haven't made Plan C
Your Plan C is absolutely wonderful! These Schnibbles are so much fun...what are you reading?
It's a wonderful addiction. LOL
I made Plan C in the Big Schnibble version and hope to make the smaller version some time soon.
I've yet to make a Schnibble..I have the book, that's a start.
Your quilt is lovely.

Love your quilt and the fabric. Schnibbles sound like fun. So many ideas so little time. Hope the pool cooled you off, ours needs more cold water but then again last week we added some and it didn't help.
love your fabric choices, very nice
I still have to make this!
good luck with the walking I usually go by 7 am to try and beat the heat!

Love it! I'm so going to have to try this now!
Love your quilt! That would be one I would love to make. And yes it is hot and hard to exercise in the heat. Good luck! ~M~

Looks like the b'day party was fun...

I am new to Charming Girls! I love your Schnibble--I also have that pattern book-and have used Kansas Troubles fabrics for other projects. I am anxious to participate with Charming Girls projects!
Wonderful little quilt! Love it!
Your Schnibbles quilt is beautiful! I love the fabrics -- Kansas Troubles has always been a favorite of mine. Can't wait to see your next one!
Not only are they addicting, they are fairly instant gratification, too. All good for a quilter!
What lovely quilts. Always fun to join a group and see everyone's progress. It's hot here too. I keep the air conditioning on and hide in my sewing room in the cool basement.
I love your Plan C!
