Quilt Retreat!

Woohoo! Can't wait...it's almost Saturday and then I'm off to 3 relaxing days at "The Barn Bed and Breakfast Inn".....my annual quilting retreat! I love the down time...no demands on my time or cooking....just ME time. Guess I am a bit selfish....poor Art is lost when I go off on my own....he needs a hobby or SOMETHING to do! I don't feel it is my job to keep him entertained....it's a hard job sometimes....
Stephany and I had a good time last weekend...on Friday, we went to Archivers and did the Make and Takes, then went to Mary's yoga class....it was good. On Saturday, we went to an all day crop at Scrapbookers Dream...we had a great day! Matt took care of Jordyn so that Steph could have some ME time....once again, Art was left to his own devices, so on the coldes day of the year....he drives down to the lake! Now that is being BORED...or it is avoiding my kids! Probably both!

Making Valentine Cards

This is what being a Gramma is all about!!!

Caleb and I made Valentines (shh! they are for mommie and daddy) while Mommie went to yoga class.
He has decided that glue is sticky...but does not quite get the concept that is will make things stick together. He cannot operate the punches...but was determined to try! I wish Jordyn was here to help us!

Caleb and Jordyn had their first sleepover together at Camp Gramma! They were so much fun....little balls of energy! Needless to say...Art and I were exhausted when they went home, but happy for the all the entertainment they provide us! Jordyn's new thing is to say "oh NO" and with many different expressions...future drama queen! Caleb is still a mina bird....repeats every thing we say.

 

Family Holiday photo

I have decided it is impossible to get the perfect holiday picture with two 18-month old children. But we sure tried....oh well...someday we will be laughing....(I doubt that Caleb will! ) I am so blessed to have these 6 precious people in my life! They are without a doubt the best thing ever! I so wish Jack could be here to enjoy these new little people, but I have a feeling he is looking down and laughing with us at Caleb and Jordyn having a melt-down in the family photo!

How Big?

Another attempt at a digital layout...When Caleb was 10 months old he liked to play "how big". He would raise his hands high in the air in answer to the question...how big is Caleb? What a cutie!

When Caleb came to visit Gramma....he was rather disapointed that he could not go in and out the little door like he did in Dallas. Max, the cat, however, was greatly relieved...she simply sat on the other side and laughed at him!
